Frequently asked questions

A few useful answers before we meet

If you are unsure about the right lesson duration, location or starting point, the free trial gives us time to discuss it together.

Do you teach complete beginners?

Yes. Lessons are designed for complete beginners as well as students returning to piano after a break. We begin at a comfortable pace and build a clear foundation step by step.

How do I choose a lesson duration?

The right duration depends on age, concentration, experience and goals. We can discuss this during your enquiry and confirm the best fit after the free trial.

Do I need a piano at home?

Regular access to a piano or suitable keyboard is important for practice. If you are just starting, I can help you understand what to look for before you buy.

How does the free trial work?

Meet Ketan, experience the teaching approach and discuss which lesson option suits you best. The trial is free and there is no obligation to continue.

Where are lessons held?

Lessons are offered Monday, Thursday and Friday at Tussen de Vaarten Noord, Almere; Tuesday at Pluspunt, Smeenklaan, Amstelveen; and Wednesday at Ontmoetingscentrum, De Meent, Amstelveen. The available location and weekly slot are discussed during your enquiry.

Can adults start piano from the beginning?

Absolutely. Adult beginners are welcome, and lessons can be shaped around the music you enjoy, your schedule and your personal goals.

Can lessons include exams or performances?

Yes. Exam preparation and recital opportunities can be included when they support your goals, while keeping the learning process enjoyable and musical.

Still deciding?

The first lesson is a conversation as much as a lesson.
